Everything you need to know about using AWL's Online Shop.
Which payment methods are accepted?
The AWL Online Shop accepts Visa and Mastercard. Payment can also be made by direct deposit/bank transfer into our bank account. Please be aware that we do not accept credit cards issued by banks outside of Australia.
I don’t have a credit card how can I pay?/ How do I do a bank transfer?
Place your order via the shopping cart as normal. On the payment page rather than ticking credit card, tick the bank transfer option. Once this option is chosen you will see listed in the box alongside are our bank account details. You can then either deposit via internet banking or alternatively visit a bank branch to deposit the payment. Please use either the invoice number or your name as reference so that we can match up with your order. If possible email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to advise that you have made payment. Once payment has been received in the AWL shop account we will despatch the goods to you. Please note if payment has not been received within 7 days, the order will be cancelled so that stock can be put back into inventory.
How much will the freight cost?
You have a choice at time of ordering of using either Australia Post Standard Service or Australia Post Express post service.
For items sent within Australia via Australia Post Standard Service (2-7 working days from lodgement with Australia post):
- Any order value $9.95
For items sent within Australia via Australia Post Express Post Service (next working day from date of lodgement with Australia Post between places in the Express post network. If not in the network allow up to 5 working days):
- Any order value : $14.95
Please be aware that postage charges for orders to be sent outside Australia are subject to confirmation at the time the order is placed.
How long will my order take?
For Australia Post Standard Service generally delivery is between 3-7 Working days from time of lodgement with Australia Post. Please allow 24-48 hours for us to process your order. Delivery times depend on where you live. (If you live in WA we recommend you allow at least 7 working days)
For Australia Post Express Post service parcels are delivered next Business day from time of lodgement at Australia Post between places in the Express post network. This generally includes most Central areas of Australian Capital Cities. If not within the network please allow up to 5 working days. Please check the Australia post website or contact the AWL shop if you are not sure if your postcode is within the network. email@example.com Please allow 24-48 hours for us to process your order before being lodged.
Please be aware that delivery to some remote regional areas may take a little longer as items are dispatched from Queensland.
What if the item is faulty & I need to return the goods?
AWL Online Shop will refund or exchange any products that are deemed faulty or damaged upon arrival. To obtain or discuss a refund or exchange please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days of receiving the item. Please note that we cannot refund the shipping component of the purchase.
Can I exchange my items?
the Animal Welfare League of SA Online Shop does not refund or exchange products based on change of mind. Please contact us at email@example.com if you have any questions about the items prior to purchasing.
I do not live in Australia can I purchase items from the shop?
Unfortunately we only accept payments from Australian banks and Australian bank credit cards.
